any thoughts on the featured fiction piece in this week's new yorker, by haruki murakami,
"a shinagawa monkey"? i was really taken with the first 3/4, al ittle let down by the end.

thanks to sasha frere-jones, i am regretting not having yeah yeah yeahs tix. but at least they'll be back in the spring.
