wallace and gromit!

it seems like its been AGES since i've been to the movies. but last night we went to see wallace and gromit: the curse of the were-rabbit! yay! what a sweet, magnificent film. now i want to have a garden for growing vegetables, and a pet rabbit...

the wallace and gromit website is standard fare--trailer, video clips, screensavers to download, and games--but, to my delight, the "recipes for family fun" are real recipes, all cheese-y, natch: vegetable quiche; lancashire cheese scones; wensleydale and leek pie; and stinking bishop, pear & walnut salad, port wine dressing.

i went to the galleria

and it was closed...

how annoying. especially since i called the customer service line last night and the outgoing message said it opened at 9am...
i wasn't the only forlorn soul looking for her morning coffee...

there were at least five others (within a span of about 5 minutes) who stopped by and looked perplexed/annoyed. i called the toll free number again and spoke to a woman who said it opened at 11am (so SOHO). and when i got home, i checked and the website said 11am, too. so, my bad.

but then again, maybe their bad too. i told them to recheck their out going message...
