us open 2005: sigh-lights

this was the pièce de résistance...

the trifecta of hot hot hot...

us open 2005 : relatively speaking, a bit of letdown

our second night at the us open. the lineup on ashe stadium--davenport v. someone i've never heard of. and then robby ginepri v. tommy haas. total snoresville. (yeah, both are cute, hot, whatever. and they're fine enough players. but you can't tell me that you wouldn't have felt a little gypped. the day session featured blake, nadal and agassi.)

but we had a great time anyway!

we made it through a set and a half and then took in a much more competitive battle between grosjean and robredo. the crowd was freaking, but eh, i was unmoved. i did use the opportunity to play with the "action" feature on my camera. this was really the only good photo



it was, however, great to see a match from that vantage point.
