"homemade" pigs in blankets

waaah. the giants lost, in very disappointing fashion, yesterday. to cheer ourselves up, we made a whole slew of pigs in blankets:










actually, playing with the soft dough, making goofy shapes, was as mood-enhancing as the gorging that ensued.










we made these with reduced-fat (!) crescent roll dough and boars head mini frankfurters and they were especially tasty. i highly recommend.
